I was quite happily using Debian 7.2 with everything working and then, like every time I install Debian, I decide I need a newer package and break out testing and unstable and use apt pinning.

This always does a little bit of damage.  After doing various packages and upgrades, I could no longer mount USB sticks as Read Write (RW), only Read Only (RO).

I’m not sure what causes this, but I think it’s to do with newer methods of handling mounting by FUSE.  Just edit your /etc/fstab and comment out the USB lines:

 

#/dev/sdb1 /media/usb0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
#/dev/sdb2 /media/usb1 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0

Voila, your USB sticks will now remount in Read Write mode.

This is so weird, For no reason whveaotser I remebered Hardwar and reinstalled it and played it and its still great, Then yesterday I was thinking how amazing could this game be if it was redesigned with todays technology and then I find you guys are doing it!! great hope you do a good job.Hardwar was an amazing game because it sucked you into the environment but I feel it was still lacking in many areas it could of been awesome Same concept same feel and ambience yet much more indepth and yet still keeping simple and intuitive, needs to be more emphasis on your moth with a wow type interface where you can see all its part with more customisable.Wish I has technical ability so that I could help but I am only a fan of the game with no coding skills
